Through a collaborative placemaking practice across four rural Indiana towns, I translated local stories and stakeholder input into places that belong to the communities who use them.

I co-designed with four communities across Indiana. In each town, I interviewed locals and observed the place in context to understand its character, then shared early drafts with the community and revised the work directly based on their feedback. This culminated in a poster open house where I had the pleasure of presenting the designs to the community members.

BROOKVILLE

A gateway arch and canopy that extend Lebanon's Main Street event space, marking a new front door for its markets and gatherings while honoring the town's railroad history.
CLARKSVILLE
Interpretive signage at the Lincoln Park trailhead that carries the neighborhood's story forward through the voices of its own residents.
NASHVILLE
A low-impact park designed to live within a floodway, Lincoln Pinch Park gives Nashville a place to walk, gather, and showcase local artists on a once-empty lot.
